Recessed covers and hidden drainage
Inspection covers infilled to match, channels set flush across every surface.
A recessed cover tray costs more than a plastic lid and takes an hour longer to set. It is also the single detail that separates a finished surface from a laid one.
These photographs show cover trays infilled in block, sandstone and porcelain so the coursing runs straight through them, and linear channels set flush at thresholds, house walls and road edges.
