Privacy notice
This is a plain-language summary of what happens to information you send us. It covers this website and the enquiries that come through it.
What we collect
When you contact us through the quote form, by phone or by email, we receive the details you choose to give us: typically your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the work. If you send photographs, we keep those too.
How we know which page you came in on
If — and only if — you turn on Analytics (or press Accept all) on the cookie bar, we record the page you landed on, the website or search that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, and whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer. That's held in your browser in one first-party cookie called vale_attr, which lasts 30 days, plus a copy in session storage, and it's sent with your enquiry if you go on to fill the form in.
Press Reject all, or leave Analytics off, and that cookie is never written. The form still works and your enquiry still reaches us — those attribution fields simply arrive empty. The only other thing we store is your choice itself, kept in your browser so we don't ask again; that one is necessary to honour the choice. With Analytics on, Microsoft Clarity also runs, as described below. With Advertising on, Google may also show you our adverts on other websites for up to 30 days after a visit, and you can stop that at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can change your mind any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
We use it for one thing: knowing which pages and adverts actually produce work, so we're not paying for things that don't. It isn't sold, it isn't used to build a profile of you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Separately, your browser holds one random string — no name, no email, nothing that identifies you — for 30 days, so that a price you worked out in the calculator can be matched to the enquiry or WhatsApp message you send us afterwards. It tells us which parts of the site actually lead to work. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We count page visits and clicks on our own system without cookies to improve the site; no names, contact details, IP addresses or typed text are recorded.
Microsoft Clarity
If you turn on Analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site — clicks, scrolling and which pages they visit — through heatmaps and recordings of visits, so we can improve the site. We tell Clarity not to record anything typed into forms. Nothing is loaded if you press Reject all.

What we use it for
- Preparing and sending a quote for the work you've described.
- Booking and carrying out the work, if you go ahead.
- Keeping in touch about the job while it's live and under guarantee.
We don't sell your details, and we don't pass them to marketers. Where a job needs it — materials delivered, a skip, an EV charger certified — we share only what that supplier needs and nothing more.
Enquiries you send through the website are stored on our secure website database and emailed to us through our email providers so we can reply; if you give an email address we send you one confirmation. To get a rough idea of whether you're within our area, we send only your postcode (nothing else) to the free postcodes.io service, which returns an approximate location for that postcode area. We never turn down an enquiry because of it.
Photographs of your property
We photograph our work as it progresses and when it's finished — it's how we show what we build. We don't publish anything that identifies your house number or street. If you'd rather we didn't photograph your job, or you later want a photograph removed from this site, just say so and we'll take it down.
If you ask for our free guide
When you ask for our free driveway guide, we keep your first name, your last name, your email, the time you asked and whether our email was sent. We also keep which page you came from, if you said yes to cookies. We use your email to send you the guide. We do not send you sales emails, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Asking for the guide does not count as asking for a quote, so we will not call you about it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become jobs are deleted within a reasonable period. Job records, quotes and photographs are kept for as long as the workmanship guarantee could apply, so we can honour it.
If you message us on WhatsApp
We only talk on WhatsApp if you choose to message us first. Messages sent to us on WhatsApp are carried and stored by Meta under their own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We use the number you message from only to reply about that enquiry and to arrange a site visit. It is never added to a marketing list and never passed to anyone else.
